SUNDAY SONGS • Dankzij de wapperende handjes van de poppes staan hier nu twee stellingkasten in mijn atelier. Hier ligt nu een groot deel van mijn papier- en verf-winkelvansinkel voor het grijpen en dat voelt als heerlijke weelde. Ik heb zin om wat andere afslagen te nemen in mijn maken, maar de tijd wordt hier ook steeds lekker opgeslokt door ontwerp- en scheepswerk.

Ik ga binnenkort mijn website bijwerken, voordat jij gaat roepen dat ik alleen maar kwastend en stempelend mijn zondagen doorbreng 😉
De zachte zonnekracht verzachtte m’n afgelopen dagen en opent weer ramen waar nieuw licht door kan schijnen. Voorjaarsvlagen in het hoofd… ik heb zin in alles.

This morning I listened to part of a podcast where the guest was so hopeless and depressing (he's an advocate of degrowth and basically said there's no possible way to deal with climate change at all). Then, I opened Bluesky to find so many folks screaming about how awful Biden and democrats are, and I think I might need to retreat. Goodness. We need HOPE and LOVE right now. Now misery, nihilism, or screaming. #LoveIsTheWay
