Some historic #Toronto jazz, from 1965 recorded in the legendary Penny Farthing Folk Club in Yorkville, featuring guitar pioneer #LonnieJohnson backed by local legends Jim McHarg's Metro Stompers.

This was The Toronto Scene until that fateful day a visiting Brit friend of John McHugh dropped in with a new disc to spin by an unheard but heard-of band called The Beatles.

A DJ from CHUM happened to be present, and the rest is history.
