@solderandchaos apropos of nothing (well, other than randomly thinking about pigeons thanks to you 😁), I remembered Patrick Murphy's "Belonging".

I think there's still the odd brightly coloured pigeon knocking around the city here and there. It was a delightful installation.

‘uMoya’ by Unmute Dance

In the summer of 2023 I was commissioned to photograph the production of a diverse dance piece as part of the Liverpool Biennial. ‘uMoya’ by Unmute Dance was incredible to witness. d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent dancers came together to explore their shared lived experience.

Gorgeous performance by Sachiko Abe at A Foundation during Liverpool Biennial 2010. One of the best things I've seen at the Biennial over the years. In another room of the same building was Antti Laitenen, again one of my favourites. It was a good year all round for the Biennial, I think. A Foundation was a fantastic venue, too (it's now Camp and Furnace)
