Massive thank you to the 28 litter picking heroes who came to this Month’s Two Hour Tidy Up in Croyland Park today. We filled 44 bags and cleared up a trolley & blankets. Some fly-tips reported too, all bags were taken away by North Northants Council.

We set up at 9:30 to litter pick 10-12. Fantastic support, thank you & well done all!

This Month’s Two Hour Tidy Up takes place on Saturday 31st January in Croyland Park. We will be setting up our Recycling Station from 9:30 on Kingsway opposite the Kingsway Centre, for litter picking between 10 and 12. We will be litter picking the park, and the area around the path leading up to Sainsbury’s.

On Sunday 14th September, a group of us are litter picking the entire length of the canal from where it enters and exits the District. (I’ve had permission from my cardio people to participate!) We’ll be on kayaks and paddle boards, pulling rubbish out of the water. Where it’s dry or impassable, we’ll be wading and collecting from the edges with long reach nets. We’re hoping others might join us by walking the tow path and spotting for litter in the water, as well as litter picking.
