Spare me the "where's the opposition on the boats crisis when #Linekar is so outspoken?" takes.

Whatever polling the tory party is doing to make it think that the largely fabricated small boats story is worth pushing, it's clearly being seen by Labour, too. It must matter to some people.

Labour's only job right now is to get elected. If wading into the issue threatens that, then they're right to stfu for now.

The #BBC being turned into a mouthpiece of the (far) right to ensure there is no independent voice or to diminish the BBC.
