My lemongrass is hanging on. I moved it inside in the winter and it was fine until a few weeks ago. I found out I was supposed to chop it to help it conserve energy. I moved it out a couple of days ago. Praying it survives! #lemongrass #garden #plants

@noodlemaz Here's a photo(from today) of one of the #lemongrass #plants that was propagated the same way, last February & transplanted into large pot last April. I had about 8 lemongrass plants propagated & transplanted into same pot. This whole pot will be full of them again, this Summer 👩‍🌾✌️🌱

My #soysauce - #garlic - #lemongrass - with some sugar & water added - #marinade #sauce for making fried pork chops later. I'm going to marinade the meat for a few hours before frying them up in a wok.

Fascinated to try out this instead of rooting hormones: I had for weeks on tried* to root 3 bought Lemon grass in water, nothing happened. Then I put a willow stick, Salix, beside one of the lemon grass sticks, and within a few days, roots formed.
Previously I had read about this root forming abilities of Salix sticks, or boiled up solutions, but not tried myself until now.
