Fascinated to try out this instead of rooting hormones: I had for weeks on tried* to root 3 bought Lemon grass in water, nothing happened. Then I put a willow stick, Salix, beside one of the lemon grass sticks, and within a few days, roots formed.
Previously I had read about this root forming abilities of Salix sticks, or boiled up solutions, but not tried myself until now.
