The air is clear, crisp and clean
Crows caw like a horror film scene
Or the images conjured up in a Poe poem
No Ravens, I think, but magpies abound
Rabbits dart back and forth in the solitude and calm
Playing amongst the dedications to the dead
The third of these curious little gatherings in Leeds is next week. Free, open air (it'll be cold so wrap up) poetry and open mic.
