La finale della kermesse è prevista per sabato 16 maggio a Vienna, e Sal, in quanto vincitore dell’ultimo Festival di Sanremo, si è guadagnato la possibilità di cantare sul palco dell’Eurovision in rappresentanza del nostro Paese. Ma c’è un ‘problema’. Quello stesso giorno è in programma l’inizio del tour in Nord America che Sal ha in agenda con Fausto Leali. Che cosa succederà?

Come riporta il Corriere della Sera, alla conferenza stampa finale di Sanremo il cantante ha confermato l’intenzione di prendere parte all’Eurovision Song Contest. Questo però vuol dire che, con ogni probabilità, qualche data del tour americano salterà o dovrà almeno essere riprogrammata. “Fausto Leali è un carissimo amico, ha accompagnato la mia carriera negli eventi cruciali: quando io vinsi il Festival Italiano, lui c’era e così fu anche nel 2009 quando esordii a Sanremo e fui terzo. Infine l’ho ritrovato qui anche quest’anno, è il destino: nei miei momenti felici, Fausto Leali c’è sempre” ha detto Da Vinci a proposito del collega.
Il tour in Nord America
“Due voci iconiche. Una notte indimenticabile” recita invece la nota stampa che compare sul sito di Hard Rock Casino che il 16 maggio ad Atlantic City avrebbe dovuto ospitare il concerto di Da Vinci e Leali: “Le leggende della musica italiana Sal Da Vinci e Fausto Leali porteranno i loro successi senza tempo e le loro potenti performance ad Atlantic City il 16 maggio per un concerto dal vivo speciale che i fan non vorranno perdersi. Noti per la loro interpretazione emozionante, le classiche canzoni d’amore e una carriera decennale, questi celebri artisti promettono una serata ricca di passione, nostalgia e una voce di livello mondiale”. Una serata che ora dovrà trovare un’altra collocazione sul calendario. L’Eurovision non si può spostare.

As reported by Corriere della Sera, at the final Sanremo press conference the singer confirmed his intention to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. This however means that, with all probability, some dates of the American tour will be missed or at least rescheduled. “Fausto Leali is a very dear friend, he accompanied my career at the crucial events: when I won the Italian Festival, he was there and so he was also in 2009 when I debuted at Sanremo and I came third. Finally I found him here this year too, it's fate: in my happy moments, Fausto Leali is always there” Da Vinci said about his colleague.

Known for their emotional interpretation, the classic love songs and a decade-long career, these famous artists promise an evening rich in passion, nostalgia and a world-class voice”. An evening that now has to find another location on the calendar. The Eurovision cannot be moved.
