PSA for the #StickeredUp community: Stickers block UV light. ☀️
If you apply them directly to your aluminum lid, you’ll get permanent "ghost" outlines (sticker shadows) when you peel them off years later.
Use a #LidLayer first. Sticker the layer, not the Mac. When it’s time to upgrade, peel it off to reveal a mint-condition surface. 💰

I finally caved and replaced my laptop, which can mean only one thing. I've reinstalled my fediverse client after last year's social media "sort of absence", and had the pleasure of a new round of laptop stickering.
Erm, can only mean two things, I'm dipping my toe back into the internet a bit, and I got to raid my sticker stash and make the new laptop feel a bit more personal.
