Continuing with translating the #Buddhist #Dhammapada from Pāli into #Scots (#Scotsleid #ScotsLanguage #Lallans).

Here are three verses I translated yesterday (the third in a following comment, due to lack of space).

176. Ane at disna conseeder the neist warld, an transgresses wi juist ane thing — speakin faus — there’s nae ill they winna dae.

177. The meesurly dinna gang tae heiven, an the fuilish dinna praise giein. But the wyce enjoy giein, an sae are happy in the neist warld.
