Great NYT editorial today about when students lock up their phones during school hours, soon they start getting tons of books out of the library. I left my phone at home on the way to the library today and instantly got a lot smarter! Except for the part about saved call numbers for ‘library opportunism’ still being on the phone. I got Hope Jahren’s book Lab Girl instead, from a cart of free books by the door. I had to promise not to bring it back, so I’m giving it to you. 🍸🐈 #LabGirl

I read #LabGirl recently & wrote my thoughts. This didn't fit there, but was also a thought.

Some people only have dogs. Some people apply characteristics they see in these #animals to their humans. Love, loyalty, etc. It's a neat club.

As a child, I thought dogs were boys and cats were girls. I've seen adults actually assign dog owners as more masculine (and more acceptable)...
