Trace layout is definitely easier using KiCad. Still, I finally managed to finish it! ๐Ÿ˜ต

3 hours in, I'm thinking maybe the computer would have been faster, but I didn't feel like screening it today. The pure focal energy of a blank page is unbeatable though.

Motion detector test tip:
To map out the detection zone for any IR-based motion detector, fill a small plastic bottle (e.g. a pill bottle that seals well) with boiled or hot water, and duct tape it to the end of a long stick. Standing out of range of your sensor, gradually work your way in, waving the hot point around until it triggers. This may be more useful information to someone using PIRs to track the movement of small warm-blooded mammals, but whatever.

Adhoc top-mount screwless slide-lock bay enclosure extension for my split power supply mod. All it needs now is a little aesthetic polish and it's done. Might add a single screw on the outside to lock it closed.
