Hi friends! I have a quandary, and I'm seeking opinions. The current mess over WEI has me re-evaluating browsers, and I'm actually considering Brave since they've come out vocally as NOT planning to integrate it. (I currently use Vivaldi, which has come out with a "we don't like this but we're not sure we have a choice", so that's also generally good.) I'm actually forced to use some kind of Chrome-based browser for work, unfortunately.
So here's the question: in the past, I've admired Brave's pursuit of privacy stances. But I was put off of it early on by the problems with Eich and the Mozilla Foundation — Eich's past outspoken opposition to marriage freedom was upsetting, to say the least. He did pledge to improve and I've heard nothing about it since, so I'm not sure where that stands. Is this still a thing of concern at this point?
I particularly welcome input from #LGTBQ friends in tech — I *don't* expect you to speak for the whole community, I'm just interested in people's personal perspectives on the matter.
Alright AWS Cert test today. I'll be glad to have it done because it has taken up FAR to much of my time.
Then the debate of another AWS cert or do some GCP ones
Determined to get out of Tech Support I am.
