A few years down the road...

This was one of the first dresses I ever had the courage to try on instore back in 2022. I remember having one of the biggest hits of euphoria in that dressing room that I just had to buy it. It took me another 4 months or so to work up the courage to wear it.

It's been a few years now, and I have a wardrobe full of cute dresses, but this one still has special meaning for me and is a good reminder of how far I've come.

Celebrating the other part of my identity this bi awarness week.

Coming out as trans didn't change everything, but it did make me a lot more confident and comfortable with who I am.

I had been in the closet for a long time. After all, it didn't seem like it mattered since I was in a happy relationship.

Except it meant that I missed connecting with a community that could have helped me understand myself. It also meant that I continually questioned myself in so many ways.

A lot can change in a year ... Last year, I was contemplating online dating and trying to get comfortable enough in my body to even consider putting myself out there.

A year later, and thanks to the effects of HRT, I am so much more at home in my skin. I am no longer afraid to show myself, and I love learning how to show it off and let my confidence shine.
