As I said in December, I'm doing shorter write-ups this year -- which means I can get them out shortly after the show. Today we saw Sukkot -- a wonderful play about a family forcibly coming together to rejoice after a mother's passing, It is built around the metaphor of the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot. It was a wonderful play about family, with strong performances -- oh, and did I mention the lead was the wonderful actor that brought Garek to life on Star Trek DS9. There's one more weekend, so go see the show.

Last night, we saw "POTUS, or Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive" last night at the Geffen Playhouse​. A hilariously funny farce that we really really enjoyed (but not for children as there is strong language and themes). Well worth seeing.
