Why didn't anyone tell me Kim's Convenience was fucking hilarious and awesome?

I mean, yeah, about 50 people have actually said that, with comments like "You should watch Kim's Convenience" and "You would love this show" and "OMG I laughed so hard" but really, how was I supposed to know, from these dozens of vague, semi-relevant comments over the past decade that Kim's Convenience was a show I would enjoy?

I thought they did quite well with Korean in Kim's Convenience, but then in the last episode they machine-translated "Korean pears" into "Korean language pears", and now I wonder how many more mistakes are in there
