(Adnkronos Salute) - Anche la squadra Atac, principale azienda di trasporto di Roma e mobility partner della manifestazione, è fra i numerosi partecipanti dell'evento ‘Race for The Cure', arrivata alla ventisettesima edizione: la manifestazione per la lotta ai tumori del seno è organizzata da Komen Italia. Il gruppo Atac Roma - informa una nota - è presente con oltre 100 persone fra dipendenti di diverse famiglie professionali, pensionati e alcuni familiari.
Per l'organizzazione della propria partecipazione, l'azienda - che ha offerto all'associazione la promozione dell'evento nei suoi spazi di comunicazione - si è avvalsa dell'importante collaborazione del Dopolavoro Atac-Cotral, che ha promosso l'adesione all'iniziativa di solidarietà al fine di dare simbolicamente una testimonianza coesa e collettiva di quanto sia importante, a tutti i livelli, credere nel valore della prevenzione e della ricerca contro i tumori del seno anche attraverso lo sport, sia a livello competitivo che non competitivo.
La squadra Atac Roma,si è radunata prima delle 9 di stamani davanti alla fermata metro B di Circo Massimo - adiacente alla Fao - per la corsa di solidarietà. I corridori riconoscibili dai colori sui loro cappelli e sui palloncini che replicano quelli della livrea degli autobus. Atac, in qualità di principale gestore della rete di trasporto cittadina, si occupa anche del servizio sulle linee interessate dai percorsi delle gare competitive. Rome, May 8 (Adnkronos Salute) - Even the Atac team, Rome’s main transportation company and mobility partner for the event, is among the numerous participants in the ‘Race for The Cure’ event, which is in its 27th edition: the event to combat breast cancer is organized by Komen Italia. The Atac Roma group – informs a note – is present with over 100 people, including employees from various professional families, retirees, and some family members.

For the organization of its participation, the company – which has offered the association promotion of the event in its communication spaces – has relied on the important collaboration of the Atac-Cotral Dopolavoro (Social Club), which has promoted the participation in the solidarity initiative in order to symbolically give a cohesive and collective testimony of how important it is, at all levels, to believe in the value of prevention and research against breast cancer, even through sport, both competitive and non-competitive.

The Atac Roma team gathered before 9:00 am this morning in front of the B metro station at Circus Maximus – adjacent to FAO – for the solidarity run. The runners, recognizable by the colors on their hats and balloons that replicate those of the bus livery, were wearing the colors. Atac, as the main operator of the city’s transportation network, also manages the service on the lines affected by the routes of the competitive races. Torna a Race for the Cure. E anche nel 2026 la partecipazione è straordinaria. Accanto alla passeggiata di 2 km e a quella di 5 km, quest’anno debutta la corsa di 10 km che quest’anno apre, per la prima volta, anche ai corridori amatoriali e non solo a quelli competitivi. La partenza alle 10 alla Bocca della Verità, a pochi passi dal Circo Massimo. A portarla in Italia nel 2000 è stato il professor Riccardo Masetti che ha fondato Komen Italia, associazione no profit – sostenuta anche dalla Fondazione il Fatto quotidiano e di cui è ambasciatrice la vicedirettrice Maddalena Oliva – e ora un’eccellenza impegnata sul campo per la salute delle donne. Ogni anno, a maggio, apre il suo “villaggio” nel cuore di Roma grazie anche a “le donne in rosa”, coloro che la malattia la stanno affrontando o l’hanno superata e ora vogliono esserci per se stesse e per le altre.
