Remember folks to check any apps you have exposed to the world for vulnerabilities on a regular basis!

Personally found a compromised VM today with a next.js vulnerability that allowed hackers access to the VM. Fortunately that’s as far as they got after they dropped a crypto miner on a VM with literally less resources than my PC from the late 90s.

Even the most innocuous apps may have stupid vulnerabilities so keep them up to date!

I wore polyester basketball shorts to bed last night for the first time. At some point, I rolled close to the edge and the low friction coefficient between my shorts and the cotton sheets led to my sliding right out of bed and onto the floor. I wasn’t upset. Just bemused. Mostly nobody reacts to my posts, but if you could boost this to raise awareness of people who fall out of bed due to slippery shorts and then just sit there bemused, I would appreciate it. #knowingishalfthebattle

So I realize this probably isn't the best comment now that we're out of the boring part, but thinking about the power outage in this VOY on #allstartrek, it occurs 2 me that "in real life" (as tho that were a thing), the ship would just float there, no?
