Transformers Cyberverse Warrior Class Slipstream (2019) and Legacy Cyberverse Universe Slipstream (2024) with Nonnef and Toyhax (Animated-style) upgrades

It's a little hard to believe that Decepticon Slipstream wasn't created until "TF:Animated" in 2008, considering how many seeker clones already existed in the franchise. The Legacy toy was a fusion of her Animated and Cyberverse design, plus the Windblade toy she was retooled from; I opted to go with the Animated-style upgrades.

Transformers Animated Blackarachnia (2008) and Arcee (2010)

Bringing Susan Blu (voice of G1 Arcee) back to play Animated Arcee was a wonderful move, but it turns out the Japanese voice for Blackarachnia was also a returning actor: Ryōka Yuzuki, from the Japanese Beast Wars dub.

Like Beast Wars Airazor, Cybertron Override (aka Nitro Convoy) has the curious distinction of having a male voice in the Japan show and a female one in the USA.

If you’ve noticed a lot of female Transformers that turn into motorcycles over the years, this toy is the reason why. Before Bayverse and TF:Prime, Energon Arcee was repainted or retooled no less than SIX times into other characters in just a few years.

All shot practically using real lighting, figures and miniature sets. I used the old school Peppers Ghost trick to create this shot. I flipped the final image to replicate the movie aspect.

I've always wanted to do this shot & luckily managed to convince my friend to lend me his figure although he was reluctant 😂.
