The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and the Silkroad Ensemble Lesson 4 explores using art to respond to crisis. The fourth section of this lesson introduces Syrian artist Kevork Mourad's collaboration with Syrian clarinetist Kinan Azmeh. In this hands-on multimedia art lesson, students listen to Kinan Azmeh's music, and create their own art in response. It equips students with tools to use art to process their feelings and adapt to difficult situations.
