@Mathias und das sorgt dafür, dass die API von Kia nicht zu genagelt wird?
Ich verstehe nicht, wie mir ein esp32 bei der Verbindung zum #KiaConnect System helfen soll. @evcc @homeassistant

#kia hat die (reverse engineerte) Login Schnittstelle von #KiaConnect kaputt gemacht. Seit einiger Zeit gehen alle Integrationen nicht mehr. @evcc nicht, @homeassistant nicht. 😭
Bisher waren die Entwickler immer gut darin hinterher zu ziehen. Aber jetzt hat kia offenbar grundlegende Änderungen vorgenommen, so dass es nicht mehr geht.
Natürlich bieten sie keine Token-basierte API an. Warum auch. 🙄

I've been driving a Kia Nero EV for the last 19 months and been very happy with it - - until Kia recently replaced the Kia Connect app used to do things like control charging remotely, lock and unlock the car, initiate climate control etc.

The new app is one of the most shockingly awful software downgrades I've ever seen in my life It's truly unforgivably bad. (See reviews on Google Play Store).

If it's not fixed fast I'll never buy another Kia.

Avoid like the plague.

#kia hat die #kiaconnect App entsorgt und stattdessen eine neue App gelauncht. Bisher sieht die viel geiler aus. 👌

It seems Kia finally fixed notifications with Connect.

Sorta.

For the first time ever, I got charge almost complete and charge complete notifications. Historically, I depended on OVMS to handle this.

Though, shortly after charge complete, I got charge interrupted. Well, yeah, charge complete means it stops charging!
