Went to https://nevo.ie today - - annual EV show in Dublin.

MrsJ asked if robot on the Tesla stand was real.

"He doesn't move but he's very popular" was the advice.

"Unlike your CEO" I suggested.

"We aren't going to go there" said Mr Tesla.

EV nr 2 in the balance now. Won't be a Tesla. Not even for €0.

Nor a #Kia, for that matter, though we like our Niro a lot. Updated #KiaApp is technically what's known as a dog's breakfast. Fixes due soon, supposedly.

I've been driving a Kia Nero EV for the last 19 months and been very happy with it - - until Kia recently replaced the Kia Connect app used to do things like control charging remotely, lock and unlock the car, initiate climate control etc.

The new app is one of the most shockingly awful software downgrades I've ever seen in my life It's truly unforgivably bad. (See reviews on Google Play Store).

If it's not fixed fast I'll never buy another Kia.

Avoid like the plague.
