#Jizo #Bodhisattva standing statue, Yuen-ji, #Nara, #Japan, 9th century. Statue height 156cm. A single piece of wood, including the lotus meat pedestal. It is said to be #Jizo Bosatsu, but it was originally enshrined at Kamidake Shrine, and some say it is a divine statue. The most distinctive feature is that he is holding the robe with his lowered left hand.
