My current setup is indeed DAWles. I built a modular mixer in puredata with all the midi wiring including clock sync from currently Electron A4 mk2, sends, master channel etc. Also, since good reverb is hard to build I using not just vst, but jsfx plugins from Reaper, Saike plugins are amazing (even a bit resource greedy). Yes, everything in puredata vanilla and works like a charm. All my analog signals are going thru it and I have a great control via midi.

By using vstplugin~ and ysfx in puredata (vanilla) it's super-easy to run Reaper jsfx plugins there.

Probably I can start building a small recording environment in puredata to record my modular jams.

Sort of DAW-less setup with a twist ;)
