Francois DionNext, it was time to do something with the 303. With the field recording, I was thinking more in terms of some electroacoustic music. That meant using some FX & a modular or semi modular. I still had the Behringer Neutron semi modular out from another track earlier this month, so I wired the CV out of the 303 to the CV in of oscillator 1 of the neutron, sent both oscillators to my Purple Ring ring modulator.

Gemma ⭐️🔰🇺🇸 🇵🇭 🎐I don't really need any new overdrive pedals, but if the new Mad Professor Super Black mini (which is just the original Super Black minus the Sweet Honey circuit that was the second half of it, in a regular size pedal enclosure) is a BJFe design, then I very well might put it on my "to buy" list, along with a Mad Professor Royal Blue Overdrive.
And I'll build a new analogue mono #pedalboard around them, just because.
OK, that's actually cool, and although I have not historically used expression pedals, I might actually use this. I miss my Casio CZ-1 synthesizer. I bought it in 1985, and it was destroyed last year when a pipe broke near where it was stored.

One of the problems I have with the increasing complexity of digital #guitar #bass #effects #fx #pedalboards is the amount of investment required to really be able to make an informed choice between them.
When I bought my BOSS GT-1000Core, I did so on the basis that I would be using it for digital effects, only, and not bother with the modelling features, since I already own Mesa/Boogie amps, and am very happy with my DSM & Humboldt Electronics Simplifier as an amp simulator. (…)
