This is more ongoing #PublicHealth failures & lack of honest accountability. Zero mentions that almost all BC hospitals have lost a lot of staff from long covid & others have quit from being overworked in unsafe work environments. Our governments are still using deflection/gaslighting & lying about public health services. Quality of care is directly affected by unsafe hospitals environment & understaffing. Only fools would still believe #BCNDP or #IslandHealth - they are liars & complicit in #SocialMurders.

"The quality of care is not expected to change at West Coast General Hospital, Island Health says. The closure is temporary until more specialized staff are available for the ICU. There is no set re-opening date with the health authority saying the closure will be in place until adequate staffing levels are in place."
