Le sorelle iraniane Kimia e Tara Davoudi, arrestate durante le proteste scoppiate in Iran nel gennaio 2026, sono state condannate dal Tribunale Rivoluzionario di Teheran presieduto dal giudice Abolqasem Salavati. Kimia Davoudi è stata condannata a 10 anni di carcere, mentre Tara Davoudi a 6 anni. Entrambe si trovano attualmente detenute nella sezione femminile del carcere di Evin.

Nadia Sedgh-Ali è stata rilasciata su cauzione dal carcere di Vakilabad, a Mashhad. La sua famiglia aveva chiesto una riduzione della cauzione, inizialmente fissata a 5 miliardi di toman. Era stata arrestata a Mashhad il 19 marzo dopo aver deposto dei fiori sulle tombe dei manifestanti uccisi durante le proteste di gennaio e aver inviato immagini ai media dell’opposizione.

Omid Bayat Sarmadi, arrestato durante le proteste nazionali in Iran, nel 2026, è stato condannato a 25 anni di carcere dal Tribunale Rivoluzionario di Teheran. Il suo avvocato ha dichiarato che la sentenza non è definitiva e potrà essere impugnata davanti alla Corte Suprema, sottolineando l’intenzione di presentare ricorso entro i termini previsti.

Mohammad Abbasi, one of the rioters of January 8-9 was executed in Qazal-Hesar prison earlier this week.

Abbas was accused of organizing and leading a group of young people, including his 25yo daughter to attack a police station that led to murder of Colonel Shahin Dehghani with multiple knife attacks and looting of the police station.

His crimes were "rioting by the order of US and Israel and destruction of property of individuals and government buildings as well as looting government buildings, including a police station.

He is the 14th person killed by IRI since the bloody riots across Iran on January 8th and 9th. The riots led to over 3000 deaths, mostly rioters but also 500+ police and security forces (government numbers).
Opposition groups claim the numbers were 80k, 60k, 55k or 42k that Trump and US officials repeatedly mention.
Opposition groups have not released more than 200 names since the riots.

⚠️ Nel Razavi Khorasan, almeno 30 donne sono state arrestate durante le proteste scoppiate in #Iran all’inizio del 2026. Molte di loro sono rinchiuse nel carcere di Vakilabad dove vengono detenute in condizioni estremamente dure, tra carenza di cure mediche, scarsa ventilazione e limitazioni ai contatti con le famiglie. Alcune sono accusate di reati molto gravi, tra cui “inimicizia contro Dio” e “collaborazione con Israele”.
