@mobileharv I think #interurbans are a vastly underrated form of #transportation. They were fully #electric, provided frequent service (even in small towns), could exceed highway speeds, had widespread service, and could easily shift from providing local intracity service to high speed intercity service. They're also one of the few forms of transit that could work in #rural areas (although theoretically, buses could too).
