On Zine Library Day, July 21st, I went to a zine club event organised by Zine Kabine - it was so much fun! I'll reveal the mini-zine I made there soon. Zine Kabine also have a mobile zine library as you can see in the photo. Doesn't it look fabulous? In July I also donated some mini-zines to 2 little free libraries.

Last day of International Zine Month... I just attended a fun virtual zine gathering organised by Space Coast Zine Club and now it's time to post my review of Wort Journal. (I'll blog more about IZM asap).

Wort Journal is a radical herbalist publication and it's 200% my cup of tea! It combines herbal knowledge, folklore, art, poetry, and intersectional activism with essays on foraging in Palestine, the Mobile Herbal Clinic in Calais, tarot cards & plantlore, the ethics of foraging, and much much more.

For the International Zine Month I wanted to learn a new folding technique. I chose the Turkish map fold which had been fascinating me for a while. I used it to make a summer visionboard during the July full moon.
