For many years I wrote & research on intellectual property & in the end concluded that of all IPRs trademarks were those with the most social utility for consumers....
Its difficult to see what social utility is served by trying to wreck Banksy's trademark protection, other that to increase the ability of a greetings card company to see unauthorised goods.
Sure trademarks can be abused but here the only real issue is who owns Banksy's persona!
From opportunities in #sustainable #SupplyChains to controversial topics on intellectual property rights (#IPRs) - the recently signed #trade agreement between #India and the #EFTA states has it. In my newest blog post, I am calling on national #parliaments to approve the agreement, explore synergies for #sustainability, and remain vigilant about controversial issues.

It's no news that #China's regime does little to nothing to act against the theft of intellectual property rights. But the latest escalation of #Beijing's trade war against #Taiwan should ring alarm bells.
Taiwan-based producers of various food items and beverages are requested to not only list the ingredients, but also the proportions of those ingredients and the cooking time and temperature.
HELLO?! They're asking for the entire recipe to start copying stuff.
