Went 15 rounds with a 50-year-old #Hydrangia bush we are transplanting b/c it gets hammered with too much sun where it has always been.

Took two of us all day to get it out of the ground and dig a new hole. It put up a helluva fight, but we prevailed…so far. As it was already sprouting small growth, the shock of moving it might be fatal. Or not. We have super rich clay soil and everything grows like crazy here in our corner of the #Oregon forest.

I am sore in places I forgot could get sore.
