Humphrey (76) maakt indruk in The Voice-battle: 'Ik zou een kaartje voor je kopen'

Vrijdagavond was het tijd voor de eerste battles van 'The voice of Holland'. Humphrey, de 76-jarige deelnemer, nam het tegen Nicole op met het nummer 'It's A Man's Man's Man's World'. Hun optreden oogstte veel lof van de coaches. Vooral Humphrey scoorde weer veel punten met zijn stem en dansmoves.

My time in Bellevue is nearly over and I only managed to visit #Seattle once on Tuesday evening, but I really liked this #doorway when I walked past. What initially caught my eye was the pretty stained-glass arched window, but the whole setup is very neat I think.

Humphrey avait deux noms aux connotations diamétralement opposées, mais justes. Il écrivait le premier avec de la suie, parce que ça le faisait rire. Je ne l'ai jamais vu écrire le second. Je ne sais même pas s'il s'écrit. Sans doute trop vaporeux.

Plus je pense m'en rapprocher, plus je m'éloigne. Beck est un paradoxe. Pire qu'une savonnette : un savon gelé. Dans mes souvenirs j'y suis allé, j'y ai vécu. Dans une vague réalité, n'y traîne plus qu'une ombre. Je ne suis même pas sûr qu'il s'agisse de la mienne.

Il n'avait qu'une seule chose en tête : le rire du saint. Nous passions au moins deux ou trois fois par jour devant l'ossuaire rien que pour l'entendre. Il me manque. Beck est encore trop loin et moi, trop fatigué.
