When your latest #houseplant turns out to be seven cuttings in a trenchcoat.

Did a bit of pre-WfH-Wednesday indoor plant repotting. Even if I'm not in it the sunshine outside is very motivating.

The potting "soil" for the plant(s) in the photo seemed to be just pure coir, and the whole thing disintegrated into a loose pile of coir and roots when I de-potted it. They look pretty healthy though. I doubt the garden centre itself made this like this, I expect all the plants are simply bought in as-is from wholesale sources.

Have split these into two pots now... we are very good at killing houseplants, so some redundancy is always a good thing.

Have re-potted a whole (small) shelf of houseplants, plus a handful of herbs. Productive! But gotta get on with the workday now... hopefully the sun stays a thing and I can take an extended lunch break to spend some time out in it.

I hate how I put off tasks for -months- because I'm constantly exhausted and stressed out but when actually doing it, it wasn't actually too terrible to finish. This snake plant has direly needed a repot but I haven't gotten a chance to do it until tonight. 🪴
