Cold City and Hot War: an introduction Part One

YouTube

As there's a little buzz around #ColdCityRPG and #HotWarRPG I should mention that I've run two iterations of a campaign using the Hot War rules but set in London after the events of "The War of the Worlds" in 189X.

It's immensely good fun and just a shade lighter than the original Hot War setting.

More action in the #HotWarRPG based post-War of the Worlds game, as the collapse of London Bridge was linked back to the family of one of the PCs while some of the survivors may be connected to a secret project experimenting with human sleep. Fantastic PC interactions as well, with the players making plenty of wrong decisions for the right reasons! #ttrpg

I started running Thunderchild II tonight: not a sequel to the previous #ttrpg campaign, just a repeat. It's a new group of players exploring the same concept, an agency tasked with maintaining order in the wake of The War of The Worlds and keeping Martian technology out of the wrong hands.

As before, I'm using the #HotWarRPG to run this, since it handles the situation perfectly, right down to the hidden agendas of all the PCs! πŸ˜‰
