Maters! End-of-season pickings, sitting in a basket in the corner of the kitchen. Some of the green ones are ripening off the vine. The rest, I'll turn into green tomato pakoras.
A small late-season harvest. Some of the tomato plants are still going strong. First frost is only a couple of weeks away, so tomato season is about to end.
We didn’t plant a garden this year knowing we’d be moving. Grandpa’s garden didn’t get planted, either. Sigh…
But that sure didn’t stop the volunteers from showing up. Absolutely gorgeous ‘maters. 🥰 Thanks, gramps. We sure miss you.
