Here I go about to be lynched....
I've started #HomeSchooling #HomeEducating my 13 year old due to the lack of support for her aneamia and anxieties, and alongside the usual core GCSE and extra interest subjects i'd like to include lessons on life skills. So far i'm thinking the following but would welcome suggestions;
Budgeting / saving / investing
Basic home maintenance / H&S
Internet safety / resillience
Cooking / food prep / healthy diet
Staying fit and active
Anything else you wish you had been taught as a teen? Boosts appreciated :)
Yesterday E and I made a dino sensory park with different textures - hours of fun (although a fair bit of sweeping up at the end!)
I particularly enjoyed making Weet Henge

@roryreckons Our current/local friend group is gloriously #NeuroDiverse, mainly because it's entirely other #HomeEducating parents.
But OH and I had a bit of an "oh, that makes sense" moment when we had the two couples that we've stayed friends with since uni (20 years ago) to stay in April, and it's like "hey look, we all seem to have had ND kids since".
