Однако все эти новшества уже были ранее представлены в других LLM: GPT-4, Llama, Mistrall и других. Полистав WhitePaper HighFlyer, можно наткнуться на описание собственного непубличного тренировочного фреймворка HAI LLM , эксплуатирующего действительно новые фишки, которые позволяют значительно сэкономить на обучении модели. @nopatience i strongly suspect that $6 million figure is a lie... but even if it was $60 or $600 million the impact would be the same so whatever.

also remember that #DeepSeek is owned by #HighFlyer, a financial quant trading firm that does a lot of crypto trading. they could have gone short #NVDA before releasing the model and made an absolute fortune (and i don't even think it would be illegal).
