Learning to write Chinese characters is learning to think in structure.
Stroke order isn’t decoration — it’s a system: top to bottom, left to right, outside before inside.
When you treat characters as architecture, the whole language becomes more logical.

I have not verified the original Han-zi (Kanji) provided below. I generated the table in a few seconds with an LLM: there maybe errors So I still have to check those orignal chinese characters #hanzi

I struggle a lot with Chinese characters that have two different pronunciations, but today I found one that has three??!

The meaning I was looking for is in the first entry: 帖tiě measure word for a dose of herbal medicine.

And it doesn’t help that I initially mixed it up with 贴

The speech of all 4 are different; regardless, the #Hanzi had similar meaning. This made writing using the Hanzi/Hanja/Kanji/Chu Han a convenient lingua franca that circumvented the language barrier via an innate, shared writing system. Writing in Hanzi was still understood by all parties involved.
#Hanzi, the characters of the Chinese #language, and their counterparts #Hanja (of the #Korea s), the #Kanji (of #Japan) and #ChuHan (of #Vietnam) were all used between the four nations (before Vietnam adopted a #Latin -based #script) to conduct trade in ancient times.

Little fun challenge!
First attempt at writing the biáng character, which is a type of noodle in Shaanxi cuisine. Deemed the most complex "genuine" Chinese character with its 58 strokes. Full of flaws but not too bad for a first I guess.
Next challenge: an "artistic" character made of 172 strokes. Wish me luck!

Thought I'd give a small life sign. Along with my art, I've been getting back into calligraphy. Here are some (cheat) cursive 心 hearts for you all. My personal favourite is the little one in the top right corner.
