First of all, I have to say that I read the summary of this book a while ago and added it to my to-read list, but I decided to read Those Who Wait by the same author first.

While reading Those Who Wait, which I absolutely adored, I remember thinking several times, “Wow, Regan and Emma, with all this tension between them, I would love to know more and have a story focused on them.”

So, when I started The Snowball Effect without fully remembering the premise, and I read the very first sentence… My brain just clicked.

What an absolute delight to begin a book already so invested and excited. I knew I was in good hands—with characters I was already so eager to follow. It was truly the best possible start.

What can I say next, except that I loved every second of it? Every chapter was a joy to read, and even when the epilogue arrives, and you're already satisfied, already fulfilled, you still find yourself shedding a tear because somehow, it gets even better.
