New Steam Controller seems to have weird auto calibration issue that pretty much makes the gyro useless. 😬 #gyroaiming

Playing #Pragmata with #gyroaiming is an absolute blast! It almost feels like cheating compared to using a standard controller. I’m still using an old BigBig Won Armor X Pro for gyro, and while the new Steam Controller is tempting, it’s hard to justify the price when there are perfectly solid alternatives out there for a lot less.

I cannot imagine the Steam controller will sell well at all at that price. Which is a shame as it would have been nice to have a standard PC controller.

I'm once again working on a little gyro project. This FPS called Lead Haul was recently put under an open source license by its developer and I thought it would be a nice candidate to try out the sensor API stuff in the development version of LÖVE.
Current implementation is very rudimentary, but barely playable.
