Hit the #GreekFest this evening! Quite stellar spit-roasted lamb. Enjoyed w faves like tarama, tiropita, Greek salad w feta, and pita. They were out of spanakopita sadly. All super tasty and some retsina – prob my fave Greek wine.

Just being a couple of weeks later in the year than normal has pushed them into wasp season which has been bad the last few years.

Be forewarned if you go (it's on for one more weekend) that the wasps are a constant annoyance around your food.

Things were super busy at the #Covina Greek Festival this past weekend! 🇬🇷🎪

Way more crowded than I expected??? Like I walked around for 20 minutes looking for a seat before settling on leaning against this railing like a dork.

And by the time I did that, my #kataifi got all soggy and cold!

Once again calling on Ottawa Foodies. Where can I find Taramasalata? I thought the Adonis market might have the dip but nope, a bust. I know that #GreekFest is on now and I see it on their menu but what I want is a place where I can get it on a regular basis. I tried making my own and it was a failure. Any ideas or experience?

Speaking of making things on my own, a wk or 2 ago I asked Ottawa foodies about a good place for Peshwari Naan. While I waited for responses, I attempted making my own. Not bad if I do say so myself.
