Isles of Shoals Lighthouse aka White Island Lighthouse, 6/16/23. This was the first stop on the sunset lighthouse cruise we enjoyed a couple of summers ago. In addition to this lighthouse, we also passed by Whaleback and Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses. I had been very much looking forward to seeing this one: it’s about six miles from shore, so this was about the only way I was going to be able to see it!

Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, 6/16/23. Two summers ago my wife and I enjoyed a sunset lighthouse cruise that was hosted by the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses (www.portsmouthharborlighthouse.org) — narrated by none other than Jeremy Dentremont (IYKYK). In addition to this lighthouse, we also passed by the Whaleback and White Island Lighthouses. This was the third and final stop on the cruise. It was my first time seeing it with its current optic, which was installed the previous year.
