Now you can degauss your CGA monitor even though it doesn't have a degauss button.

I just switched the active font on my CGA card, from DOS on my IBM 5150, without any driver or utility.

In a groundbreaking display of ⚠️absolute absurdity⚠️, someone decided to squeeze 60fps video onto a CGA, the computing equivalent of fitting a Ferrari engine into a tricycle. 🤡 Witness the #GlyphBlaster, a project that proves once and for all that just because you can doesn't mean you should. 🎉

I'm thinking the final GlyphBlaster project may need to use a raw RP2350B chip. There's a few reasons for that.

One, we've used every single GPIO pin, and there are other things I'd like to add - like a QSPI PSRAM module.

I'm really feeling the limitation of the ~500KB or so of RAM the Pico 2 has.

Ooh, look what just showed up.

Sadly, v1.0 is already obsolete with v2.0 under development - but this will allow me to shake out any bugs before ordering the v2.0 boards.

Tying in the address lines opens up a whole new world of fun effects.

I've been thinking, what if GlyphBlaster was just a whole-ass ISA video card?
