William Henry Bennet, Congregationalist minister, says in Jeremiah there were three indictments (22:3,17, 26:15) of the shedding of innocent blood. The covetous attacked the helpless, the poor, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. Judges helped it along.
Now, we oppose this rhetoric, unless it’s the “oppression” of wearing masks.
