Sono stati individuati finalmente in #Siria i depositi segreti utilizzati per la produzione delle armi chimiche come il sarin, il gas nervino usato dalle forze di Assad negli attacchi che uccisero oltre 1.300 persone a #Ghouta, sobborgo di Damasco, nell’agosto 2013, e poi ad Al-Lataminah nel marzo 2017. Twelve years on, the wounds of Ghouta remain unhealed.
On the night of August 21, 2013, more than 1,100 people, including children, suffocated to death in #Ghouta killed by sarin gas in the largest chemical weapons attack of the 21st century, perpetrated by the Assad regime. Around 6,000 more were affected by the symptoms of toxic gases (according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights).

11 years ago today the nerve agent #sarin was used in an attack on #Ghouta (near #Damascus) in #Syria
The main opposition alliance had put the death toll at more than 1300.
#MSF said at least 3600 patients displaying "neurotoxic symptoms" had been treated at the hospitals it supported.
