In our last message, we shared that the #WhiteHelmets voted to integrate into #Syria’s new Ministry of Disaster and Emergency Response Management, a historic moment marking the end of our journey as a non-governmental organization.

Twelve years on, the wounds of Ghouta remain unhealed.
On the night of August 21, 2013, more than 1,100 people, including children, suffocated to death in #Ghouta killed by sarin gas in the largest chemical weapons attack of the 21st century, perpetrated by the Assad regime. Around 6,000 more were affected by the symptoms of toxic gases (according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights).
We carry the memory of that night to speak,,,
