I advocated strongly for #KierStarmer as #Labour leader. After 14 years of #Conservative mis-government and corruption, I didn't expect things to put right overnight.

But I believed he was capable of taking a moral stand, and he hasn't. Critical issues, both domestic and international, are not being met with a decisive position. And as a member of the #LGBT community his inability to push back against the #GenderCritical and #TERF contingent feels like a personal betrayal.

In Scotland, a 'gender critical' feminist group called For Women Scotland claims that messages about joy, belonging, and identity are a form of "grooming, " that they are "propaganda," and that they are dangerous for children.
