@eco-g I think the Greens should state openly: If the Labour Party leadership wish the Greens to stand aside to help their candidate beat Reform then they should make the case to the Greens for why they should and what they would offer in return.
I donβt believe Labour Together or the PM want Burnham to win. Nor do I think Burnham needs the Greens to step aside for him to win. He will win or lose based on his own campaign.

I also find it so funny that #GreenParty supporters are fuming at Andy's decision to stand in, and want #GPEW to properly contest - when even its own former MP and party leader pleaded not to do it.
the reason is simple. unlike constantly lying Polanski who didn't even bother to vote for his own party, Andy has a proven track record, is popular and positively viewed. if Burnham is to become PM & implement his proposed programme, he'll suck the air out of both populists.

I use YouTube for my UK relevant left wing political content. There are no alternatives. I dread to think what the impact would be if these channels were undermined by nefarious means prior to or during a GE campaign. I fully expect that to happen.
The GPEW needs an instance where they can be in control of their media messaging and grow a community. Bridged bot accounts are awful for engagement.
