Côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮 faces an increased risk of disease outbreaks with epidemic potential. HIOH and #RKI equipped a new training and research laboratory at the University Teaching Hospital of Bouaké. It was funded through the #GlobalHealth Protection Programme #GHPP.

The minister of health and local representatives opened the laboratory together with RKI and HIOH. 🤝

👨‍🔬 The laboratory is envisaged to become a hub for teaching modern molecular #diagnostics and state of the art sequencing technology.

The project goal is the establishment of the Namibia Public Health Institute (NamPHI), which is a complex endeavor that requires the expertise and support of many technical areas. Therefore, TwiNit 2.0 is a compilation of various projects under one umbrella bringing in interdisciplinary technical support in a cross-department cooperation.
